Requirements

To apply to PHIFP, applicants must:

  • Meet the educational, informatics, public health, and research experience requirements as described on the eligibility page.
  • Be willing to commit to a two-year, full-time fellowship.
  • Be willing to relocate to where the assignment is located.

  • Application period opens.

November

  • Application period closes.
  • All applications and supporting materials must be received by the deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.

November-January

  • PHIFP screens applications for eligibility and quality.

January-February

  • ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø host sites contact and interview PHIFP applicants.

February

  • ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø host sites make final selections.
  • Applicants are notified of their status.

March-July

  • ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø onboards accepted applicants.

August

  • Accepted applicants begin their ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø assignments.

September

  • New fellows complete a 2-week orientation with PHIFP staff.
